Sources

Methodology

Coin Camp combines editorial reporting, public market APIs, protocol data and curated datasets. This page explains how those sources are used and where readers should treat numbers as time-sensitive.

Market Data

Prices, market caps, exchange counts, sparklines and coin chart data are sourced from CoinGecko where available and displayed primarily in AUD for Australian readers.

When an upstream request fails, Coin Camp can show fallback data so the page remains usable. Live market pages label freshness and should be treated as informational, not execution-grade pricing.

News and Guides

News and guide pages can be supplied by the Coin Camp WordPress content layer, with local fallback content used when the CMS is unavailable.

WordPress article HTML is sanitized before rendering. Featured images, authors, excerpts and dates come from the CMS fields when present.

Rewards and Tools

Rewards data can come from imported sources such as DeFiLlama and is reviewed before publication. APY, TVL, eligibility and risk notes can change without notice.

Airdrops and ICO-style tool pages should be treated as research aids. Readers should verify official URLs, wallet permissions, chain requirements and local tax consequences independently.
